Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using thepawlure.com (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended solely for individuals aged 18 or older. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly offer the Service to minors, and any account or order found to belong to a minor may be cancelled without refund.

3. The Service

The Pawlure uses automated image-generation technology to turn a photo of your pet into a stylized, royalty-themed portrait. You upload a photo, receive one or more low-resolution preview versions free of charge, and may purchase a high-resolution digital file of the specific preview you select.

The exact tools, models, and infrastructure used to produce previews and final files are proprietary to The Pawlure and are not disclosed as part of these Terms.

4. Previews and Purchases

A purchase relates to one specific preview image that you have already viewed and selected. When you complete payment, you receive a high-resolution version of that exact preview — not a new or different generation. Because the result is shown to you in full before any payment is made, there is no “blind purchase” involved in using the Service.

5. AI-Generated Content & Limitations

Portraits are produced using automated, AI-assisted image generation. This process involves a degree of artistic interpretation. We do not guarantee that any preview or final portrait will be a perfectly accurate likeness of your pet, and minor variations in color, pose, expression, or background detail are an expected and normal part of the Service. Such variation does not constitute a defect and is not, by itself, grounds for a refund.

6. Delivery of Digital Files

Upon successful payment, your high-resolution file is sent to the email address you provided, together with a permanent download link. For security and storage-management reasons, both the download link and the underlying file remain available for a limited period after delivery (see your delivery email for the exact expiry date). You are responsible for downloading and securely saving your own copy of the file before that date. We are not responsible for files that become inaccessible because a link was allowed to expire, or because an incorrect or inactive email address was provided at checkout.

7. Refunds

Refunds are handled under a separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: because each purchase corresponds to a specific, already-approved preview delivered as a digital file, refunds are limited to cases of service fault (non-delivery, mismatched, or incorrectly specified files) and are not available simply because you changed your mind or were unsatisfied with an outcome you had already previewed and approved.

8. Your Responsibilities

You agree that any photo you upload is either of your own pet or one you have the right to use, and that your use of the Service complies with applicable law. You are responsible for the accuracy of the email address and any other information you provide at checkout, and for keeping your downloaded files secure once delivered.

9. Intellectual Property

The Pawlure retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service itself — including its software, designs, methods, and underlying technology. Subject to full payment, you receive a personal, non-exclusive license to use, print, and share the specific portrait file you purchased for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, or claim authorship of the underlying generation technology or process.

10. Third-Party Services

To operate the Service, we rely on a number of third-party service providers acting on our behalf, including (by category): a payment processor to handle transactions, an email-delivery provider to send order confirmations and files, a cloud storage provider to host uploaded and generated images, and third-party AI and image-processing providers used in generating previews and final portraits. We do not publicly disclose the specific providers used, as our processing pipeline is treated as confidential and proprietary. Each provider processes data only as needed to perform its function and is bound by its own applicable terms and data-protection obligations.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific artistic outcome will be achieved.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Pawlure's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service, however framed, shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, goodwill, or anticipated benefit, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold The Pawlure harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any rights of a third party (including rights relating to any photo you upload).

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence, where applicable.

15. Resolving Disagreements

If you have a concern or dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at support@thepawlure.com so we can try to resolve it informally and promptly, before pursuing any other remedy available to you under applicable law.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or to applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
